Role Responsibilities:

The Enterprise Data Architect will report to Gaurav Jangid – Global Head of Data, Axxsys Consulting – and be vested with the following areas of responsibility:

• Propose architecture, technology considerations and roadmaps for implementing Data Management solutions
• Actively engage in the preparation, conception, and realization of client data projects
• Lead process design reviews, conduct current state analysis, future state and roadmap assessments, project assessments, and define detailed implementation blueprint
• Apply modern data management toolsets and methods to design, build, implement, and optimize data solutions of all types – including data warehouses, data lakes, ODS, streaming data, analytic and BI/visualizations, etc.
• Align with stakeholders, including C-level, partners, technologists, and clients to ensure program delivers on business goals
• Participate in strategic, sales and account planning activities in coordination with account leadership and domain experts

Role Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications):

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis, engineering, architecture, and operations roles, including experience with transformational efforts
• Extensive knowledge of Design Patterns for Software and Data Engineering
• Experience with tools (or similar) such as Hadoop Stack, Airflow, Kafka, NiFi, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, ElasticSearch (ELK), JSON, Parquet, Avro and other Data Storage formats
• Understanding of leading cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or Databricks)
• Strong delivery skills and experience in data catalog, data lineage and data governance tools
• Implementation experience in full cycle data engineering projects
